Tolle Tage an einem Stausee ohne Wasser
Ob bei Gassirunden oder im Urlaub – mich und Cocker Spaniel Bruno zieht es zum Wasser. Aber während ich Gewässer auch vorbei laufend als Zuschauer genießen kann, muss Bruno immer und überall hinein. Das ist bei Urlaubsplanungen zwingend zu berücksichtigen. Grenzt es doch aus Brunos Sicht an schlimmste Tierquälerei, wenn er evtl. tagelang an der Leine an Wassern nur vorbei geführt wird.
Also muss Wasser im Urlaub sein. Und trotzdem wagten wir Hundefreundinnen uns neulich ausgerechnet an den in diesem Jahr abgelassenen Stausee Quitzdorf. Ein Gewässer, das selbst bei normalem Wasserstand durch Blaualgen übel beleumdet ist. Zudem war via Regionalzeitung kurz vor unseren Hundefreundetagen zu erfahren, dass die abgestorbenen Blaualgen am Ufer schrecklich müffeln würden. Doch ganz so schlimm war es dann nicht, Es roch eher wie Brackwasser am Bodden.
Und ein Stausee mit nur noch Restwasser – der hat besondere Reize. Betonelemente von Baustraßen tauchen auf. Inseln und Landzungen entstehen. Baumstümpfe bilden seltsame Silhouetten. Boote liegen auf dem Trockenen, ebenso von Steinen und Muschelschalen gesäumte Schilfinseln
Die “Wasserhunde” Kira, Freddy, Darja und Bruno waren trotzdem glücklich . Dass wir sie leinenlos vom Sprint in den Restsee abhalten konnten, hat mit dem übrigen Urlaubsumfeld zu tun. Denn nur fünf Gehminuten vom Feriendorf entfernt befindet sich ein Kaolinsee. In dessen türkisfarbendem Wasser wir alle planschen konnten. Außerdem ringsherum Wald. Und eine hundefreundliche Unterkunft.
