Mit Hundefreunden auf Tour in der östlichen Oberlausitz
Ja – hier bei uns entstand sie seinerzeit. Die erste Wolfspopulation in Deutschland. Der riesige Truppenübungsplatz Oberlausitz und die vielen Bergbaufolgelandschaften nach der Braunkohle boten ihnen die gute Bedingungen. Mit Hundefreundinnen und unseren vier halbhohen Wuffs waren wir neulich – ohne Angst vor dem bösen Isegrim in unserem Wolfsland unterwegs.
Zuerst einmal ein kurzer Stopp im Erlichthof Rietschen. Hier kann man in der Wolfsscheune die Kacke der Wölfe sowie ihre ausgestopften Beutetiere ansehen und ihrem Geheul und Gewinsel zuhören. Birgit setzte ihren Freddy extra vor der Tür ab, aber dem 7-jährigen Rüden waren die aus Lautsprechern tönenden Diskussionen seiner Urahnen so was von egal.
Ja, und dann gibt es hier noch: weite Fichtenwälder zwischen Niesky und Weißwasser. Geflutete Tagebaulöcher zwischen Zittau und Boxberg. Viele Radwege und hundefreundliche Urlaubsquartiere wie u.a. die Feriendörfer am Quitzdorfer Stausee. Wir haben als Hundeleute jedenfalls keine Angst, im ersten und wahrscheinlich bis heute größtem Wolfsgebiet Deutschlands mit Cockern, Wachtelhunden und & unterwegs zu sein.
